Since 1995, Micky has been the managing general partner of the Miami HEAT, a professional basketball franchise that has evolved into one of the top organizations of the National Basketball Association (NBA). During that time, the organization won NBA championships in 2006, 2012 and 2013 and captured 16 division titles in the last 28 years, among many other distinguished accomplishments. In 2020, Micky was named to the board of the NBA’s Social Justice Coalition, an organization of players, coaches, team governors and executives committed to fighting racial inequality and advancing social justice. Micky and his wife Madeleine are devoted to giving back to the South Florida community and globally, and over the years have supported a variety of community service organizations, including the New World Symphony, The National YoungArts Foundation, Miami Children’s Museum, Jackson Memorial

Micky has been named an “Officer of the French Legion of Honor” – the country’s highest civilian honor – by French President Jacques Chirac, received an honorary doctorate in naval architecture from the University of Genoa, and has been awarded the Decoration of Commander, First Class, of the Order of the Lion of Finland by the President of the Republic of Finland. He has also been awarded the insignia of “Onorificenza al Merito della Repubblica Italiana” by the President of Italy, which confers that country’s highest title on a civilian.

A 20-year veteran of the company, Josh assumed his current position in August 2022 after playing a critical role in planning the company’s response to the unprecedented pause in guest operations from the COVID-19 pandemic and then the successful restart. His tenure at Carnival includes previous roles as Chief Operations Officer of Carnival Corporation from June 2020 – July 2022, where he directed major operational functions including global maritime, global ports and destinations, global sourcing, global IT and global auditing. During this time, he also oversaw Carnival UK, the operating company for P&O Cruises and Cunard. He previously managed Carnival UK directly, serving as President from July 2017 – 2020.

Josh also served as Treasurer for Carnival Corporation from 2007 to 2017 following five years as an attorney in the corporate legal department. In addition to his treasury role, Josh’s responsibilities increased over his career to include oversight of the tax, risk management and finance, planning & analysis functions.

Prior to joining Carnival Corporation, he served as a corporate attorney.

Bettina has over 25 years of experience in management and human resources and previously served as Chief Human Resources Officer for Carnival Cruise Line, overseeing shoreside and shipboard human resources, shaping and executing workforce planning strategies, and providing key support to the organization during a time of unprecedented challenges.

Doreen is a member of the Board of Directors for the Carnival/Princess Holland America Line Inc. Political Action Committee, which supports candidates for federal office or non-federal office, where permissible, who will enhance the protection, preservation, and development of public policy that will create an economic environment in which the company’s North American operations and the passenger cruise line industry can prosper and excel.

Doreen is also a member of the Board of Directors of the Deering Estate Foundation, Inc., a community-based charitable organization whose mission is to raise public awareness, outreach, understanding and enjoyment of the Deering Estate and to raise funds to support education, research, exhibits, natural conservation and historical restoration and preservation. She is also a member of the 100 Ladies of Deering, a philanthropic group of women dedicated to preserving the Deering Estate, and serves on both the Marketing and Furnishings and Design Committees.

She has served in various leadership roles including President of both Miami Women’s Panhellenic and the Zeta Tau Alpha Alumnae chapter, where she currently serves as vice president of finance. A 32-year maritime and cruise industry veteran, Lars is a trusted leader with a distinguished tenure of achievement in senior-level sea command and shore management roles. Lars assumed the role of Chief Maritime Officer for Carnival Corporation after serving as the Chief Operations Officer for Carnival Cruise Line since 2022 where he oversaw all aspects of Carnival’s marine operations, including nautical and technical operations, environmental compliance and safety protocols. He also led port operations, guest operations, food and beverage services, onboard revenue, entertainment, and crew and travel operations.

Prior to joining Carnival Cruise Line, Lars served in senior roles for Carnival Corporation’s Costa Group since 2015, initially as Senior Vice President and then Executive Vice President and Managing Director in 2016. At Costa Group, which included at the time both Costa Cruises and AIDA, he was responsible for Carnival Maritime, the marine service unit of the group, as well as fleet governance, marine projects and continuous improvement initiatives.

Previously, Lars headed the development of business strategies for Ceres Marine Terminals (NYK Ports) and was Director of marine operations at Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd. He began his career on supply vessels and shuttle tankers in the North Sea offshore industry.

Having practiced law for over 35 years, Rick brings extensive experience in corporate, risk management and international maritime law to his role, where he leads a global team of attorneys responsible for the legal affairs of the company and its world-class cruise line brands. Rick has served in key positions for several decades at Carnival Corporation & plc, including Vice President, Deputy General Counsel and Assistant General Counsel, and has been pivotal in providing strategic advice and guidance to executive leadership, including navigating complex legal and regulatory landscapes, reducing exposure to risks and defending key interests of the company while aligning legal strategies with the broader business objectives of the company.

He has been a visionary leader for AIDA Cruises, driving substantial growth, optimizing overall business operations, ensuring a positive and innovative guest experience, and fostering a culture of excellence throughout the brand.

Among Felix’s many accomplishments as President, he has spearheaded numerous environmental initiatives at AIDA Cruises and demonstrated a strong commitment to sustainability and innovation. Under his leadership, the cruise line introduced the world’s first cruise ship capable of being powered in port and at sea by liquefied natural gas (LNG). Also, as part of its Green Cruising Strategy, Felix oversees the brand’s investments into new environmental technologies and trials, including the use of biofuels, fuel cells and battery storage systems.

Felix started his career at AIDA Cruises in 1999 with a dual studies program. In the following years, he held a wide variety of positions on board and on shore before assuming responsibility for sales and yield management of AIDA Cruises as Senior Vice president, Sales, Yield management and Flight Operation in 2013.
