Under Micky’s leadership, Carnival Corporation & plc has grown into one of the largest leisure travel companies in the world. In 1987, he helped take the company public, generating $400 million for future expansion. With Micky’s strategic guidance and vision, Carnival Corporation & plc continued to grow through traditional new ship construction and by expanding its cruise operations into new market segments. Over the years, Micky spearheaded Carnival Corporation & plc’s acquisitions of several of the most recognizable names in travel, leading to today, where Carnival Corporation & plc is the world’s largest cruise company.

Since 1995, Micky has been the managing general partner of the Miami HEAT, a professional basketball franchise that has evolved into one of the top organizations of the National Basketball Association (NBA). During that time, the organization won NBA championships in 2006, 2012 and 2013 and captured 16 division titles in the last 28 years, among many other distinguished accomplishments. In 2020, Micky was named to the board of the NBA’s Social Justice Coalition, an organization of players, coaches, team governors and executives committed to fighting racial inequality and advancing social justice. Micky and his wife Madeleine are devoted to giving back to the South Florida community and globally, and over the years have supported a variety of community service organizations, including the New World Symphony, The National YoungArts Foundation, Miami Children’s Museum, Jackson Memorial

Micky has been named an “Officer of the French Legion of Honor” – the country’s highest civilian honor – by French President Jacques Chirac, received an honorary doctorate in naval architecture from the University of Genoa, and has been awarded the Decoration of Commander, First Class, of the Order of the Lion of Finland by the President of the Republic of Finland. He has also been awarded the insignia of “Onorificenza al Merito della Repubblica Italiana” by the President of Italy, which confers that country’s highest title on a civilian.

Sir Jonathon’s qualifications to serve on the Boards include his extensive experience in maritime and security matters gained through his 42 years of service with the British Royal Navy (Royal Navy), contributing to expansive understanding of our global operations, physical and technological security considerations, human capital matters, risk management and regulatory landscape. During his time with the Royal Navy, Sir Jonathon served as a naval officer with increasing positions of authority, including as First Sea Lord and Chief of Naval Staff, the most senior officer position in the Royal Navy, a position he held until his retirement in 2009.

After retiring from the Royal Navy, Sir Jonathon embarked on a life of non-executive responsibilities in the commercial and charity sectors. Sir Jonathon’s current and previous experience serving on boards of public companies with international operations provides him with deep corporate governance experience in a global context.

Sir Jonathon was Chair of Trustees of the National Museum of the Royal Navy and remains a Vice Patron. He is also the President of the Royal Navy and Royal Marine Charity; a Vice Patron of UK Blind Veterans; and President of the 1805 Historical Club, an organization conserving memorials to Georgian naval heroes. Additionally, he is a Patron of the MTB 102 Trust and Southsea Association; a Liveryman and Court Member of the Shipwrights Company; and a Younger Brother of Trinity House. Jason’s qualifications to serve on the Boards include more than 25 years of experience in the global technology, media, entertainment, sports, leisure, communications and finance sectors in a variety of senior leadership roles. This experience includes his current role as founder and Chief Executive Officer of Dragon Group LLC and its affiliates, a private firm that provides capital and business management consulting and advisory services worldwide.

Prior to founding Dragon Group LLC, Jason served as Chief Strategic and Financial Officer in a change leadership role for the National Basketball Association (NBA). He also led the Audit & Compensation and Advisory/Finance Committees of the NBA Board of Governors and served as a board member of various NBA entities, including NBA China. Along with managing financial affairs, policies and risks and helping to supervise the operations of revenue sharing and other system elements, Jason was responsible for setting the NBA’s strategic priorities and direction globally, helping to guide organizational transition, growth and overall value creation.

Prior to joining the NBA, Jason spent 12 years at Goldman Sachs, serving most recently as a Partner and Global Co-Head of Media & Telecommunications within the investment banking division where he led a number of Goldman’s most important transactions.

Jason currently serves on the board of directors of Corsair Gaming, Inc., a developer of high-performance gaming and streaming computer peripherals, components and systems, including as Chair of the Compensation Committee and as a member of the Audit Committee. Since 2017, he has also served as Co-Founder, Chief Executive Officer and member of the board of directors of The Ligado Society, a charitable organization whose mission is to connect disadvantaged children to opportunities using InclusiveTech tools, particularly in Brazil and Mozambique. Since 2017, Jason also has served as Special Advisor to the US- & Mozambique-based foundations led by WNBA legend Ms. Clarisse Machanguana. Additionally, he is Co-Chair of Stanford University’s Parent & Family Partners Committee and has been an active member Stanford University’s Parent & Family Advisory Board since 2021. Jason earned a Juris Doctor from Harvard Law School and a Bachelor of Arts in international relations and in economics from Bucknell University. He is originally from a town of 600 residents and is the son of a 3rd-class shipfitter who worked on the construction of the U.S.S. Kitty Hawk (CV-63) aircraft supercarrier, among other ships. During his time at Simpson Thacher & Bartlett, Jason worked with Carnival Corporation to create a joint venture with South Korean conglomerate Hyundai which utilized the MS Tropicale to take a significant step toward globalizing Carnival Corporation’s operations beyond North American and Europe.

Nelda’s qualifications to serve on the Boards include over 25 years of senior executive experience in diverse and heavily regulated industries, as well as a comprehensive understanding of strategy, risk management, regulatory matters, health and safety, and complex operations across different markets.

Contributing to our Boards’ oversight of financial matters, Nelda brings to the role strong financial acumen and financial reporting skills developed through leadership roles at several public companies as well as her current role as Chair and Chief Executive Officer of Pine Grove Holdings, LLC, a privately held investment company. Prior to founding Pine Grove Holdings in 2011, she served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Atkore International. During that time, she led the 2010 initial public offering of Atkore International, a transaction which took the electrical and metals division of Tyco International plc public under the NYSE ticker ATKR.

Nelda also has extensive experience overseeing corporate governance, strategy and risk, human capital management, and regulatory considerations in a public company context gained through service on public company boards, including in key committee leadership roles.

Helen’s qualifications to serve on the Boards include more than 30 years of strategic, financial and operational leadership experience in the retail, transport, logistics and travel sectors, including significant maritime experience gained through her service as a chief executive officer of P&O Ferries Division, a pan-European passenger shipping and logistics business.

Helen is also trained and qualified as a certified UK Chartered Accountant. She has served extensively on public company and advisory boards, including many in the maritime and shipping sector, which provides her with additional expertise in corporate governance, the maritime industry, sustainability, supply chain and regulatory matters.

Helen currently serves as a Non-Executive Director on the board of CMO Group PLC, an online retailer of construction materials. She is also a Trustee of Leeds Castle Foundation, the charity aiming to protect the heritage assets and grounds for future generations; and the White Ensign Association, a charity focusing on financial career advice to navy personnel as they move from military to civilian life.

Helen has previously been a member of the Supervisory Board of the UK Chamber of Shipping, the trade body that champions and protects UK shipping; a Non-Executive Director of the Port of London Authority, the organization responsible for maritime safety and promoting commercial and leisure use of the tidal Thames; a Board member of the Standard P&I Club, an insurance mutual representing ship owners globally to manage insurance costs over the long term; and a Board member and member of the regulatory committee of Interferry, a trade organization for ferry operators globally.

Jeff brings nearly 30 years of leadership experience overseeing global legal, regulatory and compliance matters and managing strategic, compliance and regulatory risks. As Executive Vice President, Global Governance and Corporate Secretary, Jeff was responsible for oversight of their global legal, compliance, ethics and security and investigative functions, among others. Through his role as the Corporate Secretary at Walmart, as well as public company board service, Jeff developed strong corporate governance expertise. Before his 15-year leadership tenure with Walmart, he was a Partner at Kutak Rock, practicing in the corporate, securities and mergers and acquisitions areas.

Jeff is credited with building a globally recognized ethics and compliance program that earned Walmart the New York Stock Exchange Governance Services award for the “Best Governance, Risk, and Compliance Program for Large-Cap Companies” in 2016.

Katie’s qualifications to serve on the Boards include more than 30 years of experience in the maritime, travel, tourism, leisure, and hospitality sectors in a variety of corporate, industry association and government leadership roles, including within the cruise industry. Through her experience leading a leadership and talent firm, Katie also brings meaningful insights into human capital management,succession planning and global talent acquisition and development.

Previously, Katie served as Executive and Non-Executive Chair of Korn Ferry Australasia, a premier global provider of talent management solutions with offices throughout Asia, Europe, the Middle East and the Americas. Prior to joining Korn Ferry, Katie served as Executive Chair of Carnival Australia and Chair of the Tourism and Transport Forum Australia, the industry group for the Australian tourism, transport and aviation sectors. Her previous executive experience also includes serving as Chief Executive of the Business Council of Australia, Chief Executive of the State Chamber of Commerce for New South Wales, Chief Executive of the Sydney City Council, and Chair and Chief Executive of the Victorian Tourism Commission. Through her leadership in those roles, Katie developed a rich understanding of media and marketing strategies, including the particular concerns of the tourism and transportation sectors.

Stu’s qualifications to serve on the Boards include his significant experience in financing, investing and corporate transactions which strengthen our Boards’ ability to effectively oversee our financial and capital allocation risks and strategies.

Stu brings deep industry insights gained from decades of executive leadership at a global media and marketing conglomerate comprising communications, hospitality and entertainment businesses. He served as the Chief Financial Officer of Metromedia, Inc. and was the architect of the leveraged buyout which took Metromedia, Inc. private. As General Partner and Executive Vice President, he expanded Metromedia Company into various businesses, including fiber optics, Wi-Fi and long-distance communications, and brought these technologies to international markets. His extensive experience establishing and growing multiple public and private companies in diverse U.S. and international markets, including Metromedia International Group, Orion Pictures, AboveNet, and Big City Radio, also allowed him to develop expertise in corporate governance, talent development and succession planning.

Together with his late wife, Anita, Stu created Anstu Stable in 1992. He campaigned race-winning horses including Balto Star, Friendly Island, Irving’s Girl, Ibboyee and Mellow Roll and was named Small Breeder of The Year in 2001.
